Welcome to Quinta o Ninho, an authentic Bed & Breakfast tucked away in the hills of the Algarve.<\/em><\/p>\n

My name is Gerrit. I\u2019m originally from Zoersel, Belgium, and after decades working in the Antwerp petrochemical industry and being deeply involved in the fire department, I felt it was time for some fresher air. In 2017, I found my place here on this hillside, and I\u2019ve been hosting guests with heart and soul ever since.<\/p>\n

Quinta o Ninho is all about simplicity, stillness, and a deep connection to nature.
What makes us unique? We\u2019re completely off-grid, likely one of the greenest B&Bs in Portugal. Our water comes directly from the mountain, electricity is 100% solar-powered, and we are not connected to any external utilities.<\/p>\n

With a warm, family-like atmosphere, strong Wi-Fi, and a deep sense of peace, this is a place to feel truly at home. Quietly located between the south and west coast, we offer the ideal base to explore the Algarve. From our terrace, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view, stretching from Faro all the way to Lagos. A view you won\u2019t forget.<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re looking to catch your breath or explore the surroundings, you\u2019re warmly welcome here. And if you need help organizing your trip or renting a car \u2014 I\u2019m happy to assist.<\/p>\n
